Velvet Elvis

On boxing day, when there was absolutely nothing to do, I decided to brace the madness of the boxing day sales in Wigan town where I was staying over the holidays. What I mainly found was rubbish but eventually came across a Chelsea Girl velvet brocade print fringed dress, the same dress I'd been lusting over for months but never really had the justification to buy it. The dress happened to be thrown onto the sale rail with no tag so my immediate thoughts were that it was a mistake; however I took my chances and ventured to the tills. To my absolute joy the dress was scanned through at £10, I nervously asked the shop assistant if it was definitely £10 and when she said yes I gleefully skipped out the door before commencing into a little run just incase! I honestly love it when moments like these happen and they don't happen to often either. I'm generally a lazy when it comes to the sales and tend to shop online, this time however was a definite win! Have you managed to snap up a bargain recently?

This week I've been super busy working on a collaboration collection with Paige from Paige Joanna Illustration. We're shooting the look book next week which I'm mega excited about because my friend Sara is also coming to help and we're going to have a little sleepover where we can plan all the shots. Hopefully this rubbish blizzard weather disappears because I can't imagine us getting anything done in the snow, not for a S/S shoot anyway. I'll be blogging the 'behind the scenes' so you'll be able to see what went down! In the meantime I've added a little video of a song I've been listening to all week ever since I heard it on the google advert. Enjoy!
